New Era Foundation is a labour of love.
The State Spelling Bee Competition for the first five years was sponsored solely by corporate organizations including the then Citizens and Hallmark Banks, Eleganza Group of Companies, Cadbury Nigeria Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank and Lasaco Assurance. Thereafter, the Lagos State Ministry of Education has now taken over the sponsorship.
The New Era National Wheel-Chair Championship has been sponsored by HITV and Folawiyo Group of Companies.
For our HIV/AIDS programmes, grants have been received from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Bank.
The New Era Youth Camp has been built from contributions of well-meaning individuals and corporate organizations. Most of the buildings are built and named after the donors. This is to one day educate all the youth that will ever go there; know the importance of giving back to the society and hopefully developing a philanthropic nature and attitude.
